My name is Nidhi Srivastava. I did my graduation from Delhi University and have done M.A in English from IGNOU. I have done my schooling from Delhi as well. It’s been a great joy and three years of experience of teaching in NIEV. Earlier, I used to teach students who couldn’t afford education and taught for more than two years. Also, I have taught in government NGO’s.

Teaching English has always been my dream and have taught many students in my career. Building and working on the basics and many different tasks to bring improvement in English is my major task.Since, I was so interested and passionate in teaching so I applied for teaching in NIEV and thankfully, my journey of teaching got started.

I believe in creativity of ideas and thoughts and teach students how to deliver their views and represent themselves in front of the crowd. I have seen and observed that our youth of India is very indigenous. Students feel hesitant and shy in sharing ideas but here in NIEV we are providing our students a wide platform where students are being pushed and inspired to speak and represent their views. Now, I have seen that our students in NIEV are now able to raise their views and can easily give good views on social norms. Students are still practicing and are becoming proficient at public speaking.

My name is Faeza Afreen. I have done B.ed from Jamia University and M.A in English from IGNOU. It’s been five years of my experience of teaching in NIEV. Earlier, I used to teach in academy of education in East Delhi as a senior faculty and my job was to groom personality of students. Career of hundreds of students as well as their lives have been changed and designed.

A teacher has to be innovative, interactive, independent thinker and passionate so that he can build students and bring the best out of them. It feels so great and proud to share that all the teachers in NIEV seems to have all these characteristics. I have been focusing on the LSRW skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) with the help of projector classes, conducting extempore activities and group discussions activities where students become able and eligible to speak on the spot and answer spontaneously. Students might find new partners, customers, clients, and employees from other parts of the world and will be able to communicate a lot more professionally while using Emails, Memos, Contracts, Reports, and Agreements in English.

Now, Teaching and training students in one of the best English institute with the apt techniques in order to provide them speaking skills and also it is important to exercise and update the students with the right format and way of speaking, I have been focusing and carrying out the different methods where we give students situational based spoken activities and public speaking too. This gives the student exposure of outside world and raises their intellectuality.

1My name is Sangeeta pant. I did my schooling from Uttarakhand and have done my post graduation from Sikkim. My experience of teaching is more than eight years and still working for the students.I always taught my classes entirely in English, even when I spoke the local language fluently, without exception (even with absolute beginners). This helped my students tremendously as they were forced to communicate in English with an actual human being, rather than see it as a list of rules.

My class focuses more on translations activities (Hindi to English), content writing like essays, how to write emails in order to facilitate writing practices.In addition to spoken activities we also teach anchoring and how to conduct presentations, advertising, speeches, and personal interview interactions (also called as walk in interview round).

All these activities are important for instance, when you are traveling for recreation or business purpose, you need a language to communicate at different places throughout your journey. The ability to speak English ensures that you are able to travel anywhere in the world without having any problems while talking to people. Working with these processes, students are grasping and adapting brisk changes and they have modified their style of speaking and their personality has become flamboyant.Since I have been teaching in NIEV what I have found is that the process of teaching English has also helped me to refine my language learning strategy.

My name is kajal sharma. I have done my schooling from Delhi. I have done my graduation from NTPC lal bhahdur institute and masters in English from IGNOU. I have three years of experience of teaching in Rachna public school, East Delhi.

In meeting other NIEV teachers, I can see this is true for many of them. There are plenty of exceptions, but I have found that NIEV teachers make better teachers than traditional academic ones, which simply means that the approach of teaching towards students is very flexible and different from the many other school and institutes. Here, students are becoming expressive and are able to stand against the crowd and can speak their ideas comfortably.

Finally, getting the opportunity to teach in NIEV, I take great satisfaction in the fact that I was successful in helping even the weakest students to speak English and dramatically improve the level of many of those I taught. My success in teaching English is a huge part of why I am so confident in giving advice about learning languages in general on this blog (as well as my own experience in learning to speak them of course).

Teaching English is certainly a joy to me and gives me immense satisfaction both on a personal and professional level. Since I obtained the English Teachers Diploma from the University of Delhi, this gave me a deeper insight as to the various and newest English teaching mechanisms available.
I have been teaching English for the past five years in Delhi which taught me how to adapt my teaching style to suit the student’s respective cultural background, social requirements and specific needs. I have the opportunity to teach English for both children ranging from 14 years to senior people as much as 30 years.

I also taught in government organizations in Delhi. There I improved the English of government officers to help them meet the demands of public service .I also taught in English medium School of east delhi which gave me a lot of opportunity to meet new people and share my English knowledge with both the young and old.

NIEV the English learning institute is not only about preparing students to speak but also to help them and release their mental pressure and fear of crowd which resists them to open in front of the audience. Here, I tend to give personal time to students as well to listen their doubts and rectify them as we believe that not only teaching can heal their problems but also to let them speak and listen out their problems is important. We have designed motivational classes as well for students and it is conducted (once or twice) every week.
Also we have students who can now speak English fluently but many of them are still taking professional training to become a better communicator.

My name is Babita khurmi. I have done B.A from Delhi University and also done diploma in accounts. Four years of work experience as assistant accountant in Bansal enterprises, Alaknanda Govindpuri, Delhi.

Two years work experience as a computer operator in Ahuja radios, Delhi.
Four and a half years experience as a teacher in stepping stones school, Mayur Vihar phase-1, Delhi.
I have been teaching students with the aim to bring their originality and genuine transition of thoughts as a speaker. I give students training through the approach of smart classes. My method of teaching is to give student the right attitude to speak. Not only to give speaking training but also to enhance a good personality is important which is ensured here.

I love teaching English and I am passionate about the English language. I am fascinated by the complexity, history and current idiomatic usage of English, and how English has incorporated words and grammar from so many different languages. It is a real pleasure for me to see the development of my students’ language skills, and how a broader vocabulary and knowledge of English allows them to express and understand increasingly complex ideas.

I am an IT engineer. I have done my engineering from Inderprastha engineering college and have done my schooling from an English medium school.

I was born in Delhi and just like every other child I was persuaded and believed to follow the systematic approach of the education system and was following it thoroughly. But, As I was growing up and was clearing every class it was getting very much clear that not taking and assimilating knowledge is enough but to improve your communication (ENGLISH) and inculcate a good personality is also an important factor.

When I completed my high school and went for higher studies, the time from where my journey got started till the time I faced so many interviews made me realised that quality of communication is yet very important and to sustain in co-operate world you need to strive for this.

Thankfully, at a very early age of 16, I made this realisation and started learning English and worked day in and day out on my personality development.

From the age of 18, I started taking extensive training over soft skills which are helpful for cracking interviews and teaches verbal English. After attaining the complete training, I started giving English speaking training to the students.

I faced plenty of interviews and cleared very much out of them. I also organized free spoken campaigns in the slums of U.P where the students were not able to study English. later on I started teaching in Delhi with this primary vision to promote quality English training to every student as it is very important to build for career in this era.

So, I found an organisation with this same vision, NIEV and started teaching here. The system followed here is very neat and following this system any beginner can easily accommodate the learning and different activities of spoken are conducted in order to provide exposure of quality spoken.

The method of learning gives you the attitude of thinking in English which directly gives you the confidence and kills your fear or hesitation.

I have been teaching English for the last 16 years. Teaching this language is a passion with me. I have been extremely fortunate that I have been able to train and guide students from all walks of life.

Raghuvir Bhatnagar, my uncle, is a retired professor of English and a world-renowned English linguist. He has authored and co-authored several books on English grammar and usage. Getting trained by him went a long way towards sharpening my language skills as well as making me aware of new and scientific methods to train students who aspire to become fluent speakers.

My meetings with other people in this field brought to light the sad truth that the majority of English trainers do not know what path to follow and which methodologies to adopt. This is the reason why thousands of Indian learners eventually become disgruntled by their slow and ineffectual learning.

Hence, it has given me immense pleasure to use tried –and-tested methods to build up the ability of students to use the English language with confidence. My soul has been nourished whenever my students have expressed their gratitude after becoming successful in their careers.
